Tim Walker is my all time favourite photographer. His continuous element of fantasy he uses within each photo shoot attracts me like a magpie to shiny things. This particular shoot for Italian Vogue (January 2012), shot in Northumberland has immediately become one I admire. The styling is perfectly timed in tune for the SS12 colour palette of sugary sweet pastels. The innocent nature of the photographs is blended with an eeriness that comes in the form of an oversized china doll. The clothing worn upon model Lindsey Wixson channels a doll like essence. Walker has also created another fantastical shoot for the SS12 issue of LOVE magazine, featuring model Kristen McMenamy, styled by Katie Grand. Another fashion fairytale by Tim Walker.
